- Previous Yellow Brick Road scholarship recipients seeking additional financial aid for accredited postsecondary study.
Important dates
- Application opens: January 1, 2026.
- Application deadline: March 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM (no extensions).
How to apply
- Start your application by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking “Begin Application.”
- Typed applications and essays only — handwritten submissions will not be accepted.
- Complete every required (starred) field. Partially completed applications will not be accepted.
- Submit your finished application at least one week prior to the deadline; do not wait until the final days.
Application requirements and considerations
- Allow ample time to gather documents, request recommendation letters, and finish the application. The deadline is firm.
- High school seniors and returning YBR recipients must provide a letter of recommendation that verifies Christian character and active involvement in a Christian church program or parachurch ministry (examples: Navigators, Cru, Fellowship of Christian Athletes). Acceptable recommenders include pastors, youth pastors, or leaders of the Christian group.
- High school applicants also must include a reference letter from a teacher, coach, or school counselor.
- For current college students (returning recipients), the Christian-character reference must come from someone at the location where you are currently attending school.
- Need-based applicants are required to attach a copy of their FAFSA to the application.
Award ceremony
- Scholarship recipients should plan to attend the award ceremony at Carmel Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 17, at 9:15 AM. Returning college students are welcome to attend if they are home from school.
