Scholarships Offered
The Foundation for Environmental Agriculture Education (FEAE) provides multiple scholarships to support graduate students pursuing study and research in agriculture. These awards are intended for disciplines closely aligned with crop production and are funded by FEAE and corporate or memorial sponsors. Each scholarship has distinct eligibility criteria and award amounts, and selection is competitive. Summaries of the current scholarships follow.
DR. EDWARD H. LLOYD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP — Description: A memorial graduate scholarship established to honor Edward H. Lloyd, a founding member of the NAICC. It supports graduate-level study in agricultural fields that advance crop production and environmental stewardship.
DR. EDWARD H. LLOYD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP — Award Value: $3,000 annually.
FEAE WILBUR ELLIS GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP — Description: A corporate-sponsored award provided by Wilbur Ellis to encourage graduate study that benefits the agriculture industry and crop production.
FEAE WILBUR ELLIS GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP — Award Value: $2,000.
FEAE FAMILY MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP — Description: An award for a graduate or undergraduate student who is an immediate family member of an NAICC member; eligibility is determined by the scholarship selection committee.
FEAE FAMILY MEMBER SCHOLARSHIP — Eligibility: Immediate family may include grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; final determination is at the committee's discretion. Award value is $2,500.

Application Submission Requirements
Applicants must meet academic criteria and provide a complete set of application materials for review by the scholarship committee. Eligibility centers on full-time graduate study in fields aligned with crop production and a completed undergraduate degree. The review board requires official documentation and letters of reference to assess merit and fit for each award. Incomplete applications may not be considered.
Eligibility: Full-time graduate student pursuing a degree in a discipline closely aligned to crop production, such as Soil Science, Agronomy, Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Weed Science, or Crop Science; must have completed an undergraduate degree.
Required Materials: Application form, academic transcript, résumé with work history, one letter of reference from your major professor or faculty advisor, and one additional letter of reference.

Application Instructions
Submit a single Graduate Application form to be considered for the FEAE graduate scholarships; one form permits eligibility for multiple awards where applicable. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, and funds are disbursed after presentation of verified registration at the recipient's institution. The application deadline is in December each year; specific dates should be confirmed with FEAE. If letters of recommendation or additional required items are not attached to the application, they should be submitted by email to the contact below.
Process: Submit only one Graduate Application form to be eligible for each graduate scholarship; selections are merit-based and award checks are issued upon verified registration.
