The Wyoming State 4-H Foundation and the State 4-H Office scholarship committee have named the recipients of the 2025 scholarship awards. Summary of awards - About $31,000 went to first-time scholarship recipients this year. - Sixteen continuing scholarships were also given, with award amounts ranging from $1,700 to $2,400. - The Ella Schloredt scholarship allows past recipients to renew for up to four years provided they maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress. - All scholarships announced are for the 2025 year. (The 2026 academic year begins in the fall.) - In total, 4‑H youth enrolled at the University of Wyoming or a Wyoming community college received more than $70,000 in scholarships. About the program The Wyoming State 4-H Foundation administers scholarship opportunities for current and former 4‑H members who live in Wyoming. The college you select can affect which scholarships you are eligible for: some awards are restricted to the University of Wyoming, others may be used at UW or at other accredited Wyoming colleges, and one scholarship is designated for students pursuing a vocational certificate or program. Deadlines - To align with the University of Wyoming schedule, 4‑H scholarship applications were due February 15, 2024. - Applications for the 2026 cycle must be submitted by February 15, 2026.
