Introduction
The Sinclair School of Nursing administers a variety of internal, nursing-specific scholarships (see the full list in the online drop-down menu). These awards are supported by gifts from Sinclair alumni and friends.
Who is eligible
- Undergraduate and graduate students in the Sinclair School of Nursing may apply.
- Graduate Certificate students are not eligible for Sinclair School of Nursing scholarships.
- Students in the Pre-Nursing track of the Traditional BSN program must be admitted to — or actively enrolled in — the clinical nursing major to qualify.
How to apply
Each spring, students should sign in to ScholarshipUniverse, answer the matching questions, and complete the Nursing Scholarship Application to identify and apply for scholarships for which they qualify. Important dates and notification
- Applications open on February 1 each year and must be submitted by June 15.
- Applicants are encouraged to complete both their scholarship applications and the FAFSA as early as possible.
- Students selected to receive scholarships for the fall or spring term will be notified in August.
