CFSA General Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Community Foundation for Southern Arizona
Intro
We believe strong communities grow when students have the support needed to pursue education and become tomorrow’s skilled leaders. Scholarships and awards administered by the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona (CFSA) reflect the varied interests of the donors who create them. These funds exist because generous individuals and organizations want to help students with financial need reach their goals.
Application deadline
Applications will be accepted through Monday, February 24, 2025.
Eligibility — baseline requirements
Most CFSA scholarships require applicants to meet the following minimum criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- High school diploma (applicant must be a high school graduate).
- Graduation from a Southern Arizona high school. Southern Arizona includes Yuma, Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties, as well as specified areas of Graham, Greenlee, Pinal, and Maricopa counties located south of the Gila River.
Institution restrictions
CFSA will not award scholarships to students who are enrolled in, or plan to attend, for-profit educational institutions. Applications indicating attendance at a for-profit school will be considered ineligible.
In alignment with CFSA’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, scholarships will also not be paid to institutions that discriminate in their employment practices or in the delivery of programs and services on the basis of age, ancestry, citizenship, color, disability, economic circumstances, ethnicity, familial status, gender or gender identity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, and veteran status. If CFSA determines an applicant’s chosen institution violates this policy, the applicant will be informed.
